Ceramic decorative plates with Ricco Deruta pattern, handmade and handpainted in our factory in Deruta.
This is a pattern of the beginning of 1500. It is, with the "Raffaellesco", the most classic style of derutese ceramic and it is constituted by flowered volutes. This drawing was picked up from the Perugino's paintings inside the "Collegio del Cambio" in Perugia. This is the first pattern where we can see the supplement of the yellow, the orange and the blue to the standard colors (copper green and manganese brown). The style was handed down for generations and each artist added or modified the drawing to adapt it to the sizes of the objects. However, colors are always the same.
